Rental Terms & Conditions
Hire period is 3 days (72 Hours) from pick up, unless otherwise arranged. Late returns will be charged at 50% of hire cost per day.
Collection times of equipment is to be confirmed no later than 2 days before pick up, If items are to be delivered please confirm the delivery address on the invoice is correct. We will be in touch prior to confirm times and dates
BOOKING, PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS
A 50% non-refundable deposit will be required on confirmation of the hire, this will secure the equipment for the hirer.
Once the invoice has been sent to the hirers email address it is to be paid within 7 working days, Failure to pay by the agreed time will result in the equipment being available for hire by other parties.
You agree that once we've completed your signs, refunds won't be granted under any circumstances. You also agree that you’ll pay for all of the services and equipment that we provide, including any damages, losses or modifications that you or your agents make.
Full payment is required one week prior to the equipment hire, The full payment includes the total hire amount, less the deposit already paid by the hirer.
In the event that more than one client wishes to book equipment on the same day, preference will go to the first client to pay the deposit. Rescheduled events will only be accommodated if the revised date does not conflict with a previously booked event.
Any damages, losses, breakage will be at the hirers cost. All charges will be documented to the Hirer for clarification.
You are more than welcome to pick up your signs if you live in Taranaki, New Zealand.
For delivery eligibility, your rental order's value must total at least $200 not including additional delivery fees.
Upon receiving a delivery, you agree to sign off a Rental Agreement with a CPT acknowledging your receipt of the delivery and assumption of responsibility for the equipment.
If you receive equipment in a damaged or otherwise unusable state, you agree that you'll provide CPT with written or telephone notification before your event commences. You also waive your right to seek refunds or any other credits for such rentals if you fail to notify CPT of the problems in writing before the event. You acknowledge that CPT won't accept order modifications or equipment exchange requests after our delivery representatives have vacated the drop-off location.
You acknowledge that CPT isn't responsible for breaches of the contract timeframe that are beyond our control, including traffic accidents, vehicular failures, regional security or any “acts of god”. The delivery schedule included in your contract is an approximation that doesn't constitute a guarantee.
The descriptions of the equipment that you rent may not perfectly match what you receive due to manufacturer variances, prior usage and other factors. CPT may also substitute rental equipment for other functionally similar offerings at our sole discretion.
ACCEPTABLE RENTAL USAGE
You agree not to sublease, rent out or otherwise attempt to loan for remuneration any equipment that you rent from CPT.
LOSS, DAMAGE AND DESTRUCTION FEES
If any equipment suffers damage, loss or destruction, you agree to pay CPT the entirety of the necessary costs to replace it at retail value. CPT may let you pay the repair expenses for compromised goods at our sole discretion if we deem it possible and practical to restore them to their original pre-rental state.
We reserve the right to charge $50 service fees for each occurrence of damage, including intentional modifications such as stapling, gluing or nailing. We'll also bill you for any items that require excessive cleaning.
At the end of the rental period, you must return all of the equipment in a state identical to how you originally got it. You must return it within 7 days after date of your event.
- Ensure that signs are returned without stains, scratches,, candle wax or other marks and placed in the proper bagging.
- Pack all other equipment, including attachments and parts, in the same bag and positions that they were in when you received them.
You agree to return the equipment to the CPT yourself if it's in such a state that prevents pickup at the appointed time and place. You'll be charged extra penalties if you need us to retrieve any equipment outside of the original contract terms.
